14th Annual Meeting Information- Agenda Announced

The 14th Annual Meeting at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel in Chicago from October 9th through the 12th promises to be one of our best ever!  Please make a note of the dates – due to the Chicago marathon we will be meeting from Sunday to Wednesday rather than our usual Thursday through Sunday schedule. 

We will begin bright and early on Sunday morning with a pre-conference symposium focusing on new practitioners, including reviews of pediatric hematology & Oncology, nutrition, pediatric hypertension and febrile seizures. 

Immediately after the new practitioner session there will be a satellite symposium focusing on vaccines.

Sunday night brings the official start of the meeting with our keynote address and opening networking reception where you can catch up with all of you PPAG colleagues and maybe make some new connections.

The main conference will be divided into educational tracks this year, with groups of lectures and workshops focused on pharmacy administration and technology, neurology and psychiatry, infectious diseases and research.  No matter what your practice site or level of experience, there will be something for everyone.

Hotel Information….. $189.00 per night

The 14th Annual Meeting will be held at the Renaissance Chicago Hotel, One West Wacker Drive, Chicago, Illionois 60601. Conference participants are responsible for their own lodging. PPAG has secured special room rates of $189.00 per night for a single/double room. This discounted rate is guaranteed for reservations made on or before Monday, September 19, 2005.

Reservations can be made by calling the Marriott Hotel Reservation Desk at 1-800-228-9290 or via the internet (www.renaissancechicagodowntown.com with group code: PPAPPAA). For the special room rate, you must identify yourself as attending the “Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group Annual Meeting.”

Reservations made after Monday, September 19, 2005 are subject to availability and room rate increases. The Renaissance Chicago rack rates for 2005 are $330.00 for a single and $350 for a double. Make you reservations early to take advantage of this HUGE discounted rate of $189.00! Major credit cards are accepted and required to guarantee reservations.
