The Advocacy Committee has awarded this year's Best Practice Awards to the following:
- Jared Cash, Mark Mackay, Sabrina Boehme, Fred Farr, Marc Holley, and Kevin Jones of Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah for their approach to improving pediatric outcomes through intravenous and oral medication standardization.
- Brian Gardner, Kevin Graner, Lance Oyen, John O'Meara, and Julie Cunningham for their efforts towards computer-assisted medication reconciliation.
The Best Practice Awards, sponsored by Lexi-Comp will be presented at the 16th Annual Meeting at the Renaissance Portsmouth Hotel on September 28, 2007 at 9:00 am.
