PPAG is pleased to announce a new Special Interest Group listserv for Women's and Children's Health. Many of our members practice in Women's and Children's Hospitals, and have unique practice related questions and challenges. This list should help facilitate discussion among this group of practitioners

Pediatric Drugs, a Journal dedicated to improving the effective and safe use of drugs in neonates, children and adolescents, recently signed an agreement with PPAG. Through this agreement, PPAG members can now subscribe to Pediatric Drugs at a discounted rate.

Concerns exist regarding growth suppression with chronic use of inhaled corticosteroids (ICS) and it is suggested to use the lowest dosage needed to control asthma symptoms. PPAG provides the following guidance.

The Pediatric Pharmacy Advocacy Group (PPAG) endorses the safety and efficacy of the quadrivalent HPV vaccine and agrees that the vaccine should be recommended for all adolescent girls, preferably prior to their “sexual debut”.
